Booking: 1. Your enquiry alone is enough reserve your choice of week(s) (If
available) for a period of 10 days, (marked as pending on the
Calendar) after which, we do need a
deposit of £100 to keep them reserved for you.
2. Please remember, your deposit of £100 will only secure yourbooking
until four weeks (see 4 below) before you are due to arrive, at which
time, if we have not received your balance, we have to assume that you no longer wish to stay, and will attempt to re-let the property.
(To be fair, if you decide to cancel this late, or if you fail to complete
your payment, this deposit will be returnable only if the cottage can
subsequently be re-let.)
3. Sadly, a 'Returnable Bond' of £50 is now required with all bookings,
(not everyone is as careful or honest as you!)
pending the property being left un-damaged, and clean.
If everything is found to be in order, (which of course it will be...)
this Bond will be returned to
you by post to your home address.
4. Any balance (Including the £50 returnable bond)
needs to be paid to
fully confirm a booking, and must be received in any event at least four weeks before you are due to arrive, - So it makes sense
to confirm your booking as soon as you can. If you hope to arrive in
less than four weeks from your enquiry, (Perhaps to take advantage of a
cancellation...) please confirm your booking as soon as you possibly can.
Payments:
5. Please make payments only by cheque, made payable to
Paul Barker-Howard, and

CA3 0AG All documentation, receipts and directions will be sent by return after
you fully confirm your booking.
Cancellations: 6. If, for any reason, you have to cancel your booking after you have paid
in full, we will return any monies paid, unless you cancel later than four
weeks before you were due to arrive, in which case it will be less the deposit of £100, which we will retain pending re-letting for that
period. If we can re-let, your deposit will also be returned.
7. If, for any reason, we have to cancel your booking at any stage due to
any circumstances, you will receive repayment of any monies paid in
full.
8. We reserve the right to accept bookings at our sole discretion.
Changeovers:
9. The Property will be available to you from 4pm on your day of
arrival, and MUST be vacated by 10am on your day of departure
to allow us sufficient time to prepare the property for our next guests.
(Remember how nice it all was when you arrived?)
